This product adopts some excellent components to ensure its outstanding performance. For the insulation part, the base material is polyolefin, and it is mixed with halogen free fire retardant. Then, the mixture is evenly blended with crosslinking catalyst, and processed by the single screw extruder. Finally, it is crosslinked in warm water or under natural condition to create the insulation. On the other hand, highly flame-retardant glass filament is used as filler, and it is also resistant to heat. The sheath is produced using smoke suppressant, efficient lubricant as well as special halogen free flame retardant through precise mixing and processing. This halogen free low-smoke power cable is in accordance with the standards of GB/T 19666-2005 and GB/T 12706-2008, and its properties also meets relevant standards. For example, the flame retardant performance conforms to the requirements for class A in GB/T 18380.3-2008, the smoke density (transmittance) satisfies the low-smoke standard of GB/T 17651-1998, the corrosivity of burning gas reaches the GB/T 17650-1998 standard, the transmittance and HCL gas emission when the our product catches fire also meets relevant standards.
The halogen free low-smoke power cable has an allowed working temperature of 90℃ for long-term operation, and the maximum temperature for the conductor when short circuit happens should be lower than 250℃, and the lasting time of short circuit is not over 5 seconds.
For the low-halogen low-smoke type, the permitted operating temperature for long time working is 70℃. The short circuit lasts less than 5 seconds, and the maximum temperature for the conductor is not over 160℃.
When laying the cable, the ambient temperature should be above 0℃, and there are also some requirements for the minimum bending radius. For single core type, the minimum bending radius is 20 times of the outer diameter for armored cable, and 15 times of OD for unarmored one. For multi-core type, the values are 15OD and 12OD for armored and unarmored cables, respectively.
The insulation resistivity of the finished power cable at 20℃ should exceed 36.7 MΩ•km, and this product should not be damaged during the voltage withstand test. In addition, the test condition is as follows: AC 50Hz, 3.5kV, 5 minutes.
For the halogen free low-smoke flame retardant power cable, smoke intensity test is carried out. During this test, the minimum transparency should not be lower than 60%, HCL gas emission should be less than 5mg/g, PH value should exceed 4.3, and the electrical conductivity is 10 μs/mm or even lower.
For the low-halogen low-smoke type, the specifications during the smoke intensity test are different. The minimum transparency is 35% or higher, HCL gas emission is not over 100mg/g.
The power cable is usually delivered in drums, and the total length is often longer than 100 meters. Meanwhile, short cable whose length is over 20m can also be transferred, but its length should not exceed 10% of the total length. Based on the negotiation, our product can be delivered at any length, and the length error is ±0.5%.
